Most meal kits turn up like they’re moving in - oversized box, endless sachets, half a tree in paper liners, and a mini glacier in gel packs. It takes ten minutes just to unpack it, and another ten to figure out which bin everything goes in.

Airheads skips the box and ships in a soft, chilled pack that actually fits in your fridge. Inside, everything is portioned, sealed, and ready to cook - no mystery bits, no foam inserts, no juggling ice bricks around your veg.

We still use gel packs to keep things cool, but they’re fully reusable, and so is the rest of the packaging. No landfill material. No bin-day anxiety. Just a simpler, smarter system that keeps the food fresh without the faff.

Less waste. Less work. And no wrestling your dinner out of four layers of plastic.

We didn’t set out to build a sustainability brand. But we did set out to design something that made more sense - for the way people actually eat, and for the impact that system has.

From the start, we’ve made deliberate choices to reduce waste, use fewer materials, and keep things efficient at every step. Our kits are smaller, lighter, and simpler - which means less packaging, fewer production inputs, and fewer delivery miles. It all adds up.

Some cold sides still come in recyclable plastic trays - they help us keep the food fresh and safe. But everything else has been stripped back to just what’s needed, and nothing more.

There’s still work to do. But sustainability isn’t a badge - it’s a design principle. And we’re building it into everything we make.

    Some of our cold sides still come in plastic trays - they’re recyclable, but not ideal. We’re testing alternatives that keep your food safe and fresh, without sticking around for centuries.

Lower Energy, Built In

Air fryers use up to 70% less energy than conventional ovens - and they’re faster, too.

We build every recipe around that. Plus: fresh, not frozen - so we skip the energy-heavy cold chain, which means fewer emissions in transit.

It’s not about being perfect. Just not being wasteful by default.
